Dean’s clinical training contributes directly to the Society’s ability to uphold safety, rights, and well-being. He demonstrates strong competence in functional assessment, risk identification, proactive behaviour support strategies, crisis prevention, and ethical decision-making. His experience working within multidisciplinary teams ensures that support remains person-centred, evidence-informed, and responsive to changing needs.

In addition to his therapeutic qualifications, Dean possesses practical business and operational knowledge that strengthens Board governance. He has experience in program development, compliance oversight, documentation standards, and service quality monitoring. His combined expertise supports fiscal responsibility, regulatory alignment, and sustainable organizational planning.
